This page has everything you need to prepare for your senior portrait, including dates and times, location, what to wear, what to expect, and how to schedule your appointment.

What to Wear
Senior Portrait Event attire will follow a consistent formal style for all KMHS seniors.
Boys
For the formal senior portrait, boys will wear a black jacket and black tie, which will be provided at the event.
Boys must arrive wearing their own white button-up shirt. White shirts are not provided.
Black jackets are available in Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large. Our jackets have a standard fit and may not fit every body type perfectly.
Girls
For the formal senior portrait, girls will wear a traditional black senior drape, which will be provided at the event.
Girls must arrive wearing or bring a strapless, off-the-shoulder, or easily adjustable top to wear underneath the drape.
Attire We Provide
We will provide the following formal attire for senior portraits:
Black jackets in Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large
Black ties
Traditional black senior drapes
White button-up shirts are not provided. Boys must bring their own white button-up shirt.
About the Portrait
Formal senior portraits will be photographed from the chest up, similar to the samples shown on this page. Pants, shoes, and other clothing below the chest will not be visible in the portrait.
Additional Outfit
Students may bring one additional outfit for a second look, such as a varsity jacket or graduation cap and gown. The additional outfit is for extra portraits and does not replace the required formal attire for the senior yearbook portrait.

Parents are welcome to attend.
Congratulations on your child's high school graduation! We know it's an important time in your child's life, and we want to make sure you love their portraits. You're welcome to be present while we take their pictures.
Proofs will be available online.
After the Senior portrait session is finished you'll receive an email with the link for your online proofs. You'll be able to purchase prints, products, and digital files. All physical goods are delivered to your home.
Please make sure you visit your gallery and choose your preferred photo for the 2027 yearbook.
We recommend students to arrive ready, but we’ll provide the outfit if needed.
We recommend the students arrive ready for the shoot with their favorite styles and colors. But we’ll have a tie, a jacket, and a traditional senior drape available for those who don’t come ready. please notice that shirts are not provided by us, and the students opting for the jacket and tie must arrive wearing a shirt.

Here are some questions frequently asked by the parents:

A senior portrait event is an opportunity for high school seniors to have professional photographs taken to commemorate their final year. These portraits will be included in yearbook, shared with family and friends, and cherished for years to come. Participating allows your child to have a memorable and professional representation of their high school experience.

Signing up for our senior portrait event is easy! You can register on this page, just scroll back up to the “Book an Appointment” section. Then, you can pick your preferred date and time to come have your portrait done.

If your child is unable to attend the scheduled portrait event, don’t worry! There will be a make up day later in the year. Please make sure to keep an eye out for the email coming from the school with the information about the make up day.

Students are encouraged to arrive prepared with their favorite style for the shoot. The attire for the event is formal. We recommend a shirt, jacket, and tie, or dresses of any color or style.

If a student is unable to arrive prepared, we offer alternatives. We provide a black jacket and tie, or the traditional senior drape, also in black. Students opting for a suit and tie must arrive wearing a button-up shirt of their choice. Shirts are not provided.

Students opting for the traditional senior drape must bring a shoulder-less shirt to wear underneath it. This ensures a comfortable and seamless fit for the drape during the portrait session.

We recommend that your child wears attire that reflects their personal style and personality. Solid colors or simple patterns tend to photograph well. It's also a good idea to avoid clothing with large logos or graphics that might distract from your child's face.

Portraits taken during the event will capture the chest up, similar to the samples provided. There's no need to worry about pants, shoes, or the lower portion of the dress, as they won't be visible in the picture.

Yes, we offer a variety of photo packages to suit different preferences and budgets. Our packages typically include a selection of prints in various sizes and digital files for online sharing. You'll have the opportunity to review and choose the package that best meets your needs during the ordering process.

Absolutely! We encourage parents to join their children during their portrait session to offer support and ensure their comfort. Your presence can also help alleviate any nervousness your child may feel.

We understand the excitement of seeing the final portraits! Typically, you can expect to receive access to your child's digital proofs within a few days of the portrait session. Once you've made your selections and placed your order, delivery times for prints and other products may vary but are generally within a couple of weeks.

Absolutely! Students are welcome to bring varsity jackets and graduation cap & gowns for additional photo opportunities alongside having their portrait taken with the formal attire provided.
